Was good to see our equine athlete working early on Saturday morning up at MJR in Middleham. Blaze continues to make good progress and we should see him out in WhiteWaters colours in the next few weeks. If his talent matches his looks, he’s going to be a star.

Talking of stars, a little later in the day we witnessed a Halestorm down in Nottinghamshire. This was classic Alex Hales, with England’s hitman striking an amazing 103 from just 61 deliveries, an innings that included 9 sixes and 7 fours. When Alex is in this kind of mood, there’s not much you can do, other than watch the ball very carefully !
